Abstract: 

Work package 7 aims to embed the patient’s perspective in all dimensions of the project. Patient representatives can bring unique and critical input based on the real-life experience of the (family of) the patient. This point of view will complement the scientific and technical expertise of other WP team members and may alter the paths chosen or decisions made. Furthermore, the patient’s representative has an intrinsic drive to target the best possible outcome for the patient population targeted. 

Tasks:

• Coordination: Contribute to overall governance, as permanent member of WP1’s Management Committee. 
• Reactive consultation: Act as sounding board on topics requiring patient input, across all WPs (initiative lies with the technical WP teams) 
• Pro-active consultation: Identify, articulate and (help) remediate potential issues, throughout all WPs (initiative lies with the patient representatives) 
• Advocacy & communication: Contribute to internal and external communication and creation of support for the project
